Buy a cheap Philips LED TV for the best price at LED TV Prices

Philips offers several fantastic ranges of LED TVs, bringing the sights, sounds and sensations of the big screen experience into your living room. Their eco-design process creates Philips televisions that are increasingly eco-friendly, with lower environmental impact and lower cost to run. Several of the Philips LED TVs also feature Ambilight technology which projects a glow of light from the back of the TV onto the wall, matching and enlarging the picture on the screen for a truly immersive experience.

Philips LED TV Model Numbers
Each Philips LED TV on the market has a unique model number (e.g. 32PFL5605H). Using 40PFL7605H as an example, this can be interpreted as follows:
40 - The first two numbers indicate the screen size in inches. This can be 32, 37, 40, 46 or even 52. In this case, the screen size is 40 inches.
PFL - The 'PFL' code is common to all PFL televisions, indicating the model is produced by Philips.
7 - The series number. This can be 5, 7 or 8 (explained later). These respectively indicate that the TV is from the 5000, 7000 or 8000 series of Philips LED TVs.
605H - The final three numbers and letter allow TVs within a particular series to be differentiated, and help to indicate which type of TV (LED, LCD, Plasma) the model is.
Philips 5000 Series LED TVs
The Philips 5000 Series range of LED TVs is the entry level range of LED TVs offered by Philips. However don't be fooled by this and by the price - the 5000 Series of LED TVs offer a fantastic specification for a low price. When compared with entry level ranges from other manufacturers, the Philips 5000 Series stands out from the crowd, offering Full HD (1920x1080p), 100Hz refresh rate and a contrast ratio of 500,000:1.
All Philips 5000 Series LED TVs typically offer three HDMI ports, two scart sockets and a USB port. A Freeview tuner is also built-in to the TV, allowing you to watch free-to-view digital TV channels through your existing aerial, without the need for an additional set-top box. Also included in the 5000 Series is Philips' Pixel Plus HD, which provides the perfect combination of ultimate sharpness, natural detail, vivid colours and smooth natural motion on all qualities of content, by dynamically removing noise and artefacts.

Philips 7000 Series LED TVs
The Philips 7000 Series range of LED TVs is the higher range of LED TVs offered by Philips. Although they cost around £200 more than their 5000 Series counterparts, your investment is rewarded with Net TV and Ambilight Spectra 2. This patented Philips technology enlarges the screen by projecting a glow of light, on two sides of the TV, from the back of the screen onto the surrounding wall, creating a truly immersive experience. Net TV allows you to enjoy movies, pictures, infotainment and other online content directly on your TV from the comfort of your sofa, via the in-built Ethernet port. You can also access videos, pictures and music on other DLNA-enabled devices on your home network, such as PCs and laptops.
All Philips 7000 Series LED TVs typically offer four HDMI ports - one more than the 5000 Series, two scart sockets and a USB port. A Freeview tuner is also built-in to the TV, allowing you to watch free-to-view digital TV channels through your existing aerial, without the need for an additional set-top box. Pixel Plus HD is also included in the 7000 Series models, as in the 5000 Series.
