Buy a cheap Sharp LED TV for the best price at LED TV Prices

Sharp has recently released it's unique contribution to the LED TV market - a brand new range of LED TVs with full screen LED backlighting. These offer an advantage over rival LED televisions from Samsung and Sony, which only provide LED lighting around the edge of the screen. Here's our guide to Sharp's range of LED TVs, and a few tips to help you pick the right Sharp LED TV for you.

Sharp LED TV Model Numbers
Each Sharp LED TV on the market has a unique model number (e.g. LC32LE600E). Using LC40LE700E as an example, this can be interpreted as follows:
LC - A two-letter code shared by all Sharp televisions. This simply indicates the LED TV is made by Sharp.
40 - The next two numbers indicate the screen size in inches. This can be 22, 26, 32, 40, 46 or even 52. In this case, the screen size is 40 inches.
LE - The 'LE' code is common to all Sharp LED televisions. This indicates the television is in Sharp's range of LED TVs - LCD televisions have a different two-letter code here.
700E - The series number. This can be 320E, 600E, 700E, 811E, 820E or 821E (explained later). These respectively indicate that the TV is from the 300E, 600E, 700E, or 800E series of Sharp LED TVs.

All Sharp LE300 LED TVs typically offer three HDMI ports, two scart sockets and a USB port. They also have a refresh rate of 100Hz ensuring super smooth pictures on the LED panel, and a built-in freeview tuner allowing you to watch free-to-view digital TV through your existing aerial, without the need for an additional set-top box.

Comparable with the 2010 Samsung 6 Series models, they're the choice for people wishing to spend a little extra for a premium LED TV.
The difference between the 811E, 820E and 821E models are as follows:
LE811E - These models feature a built-in Freeview tuner, allowing you to watch free-to-view digital TV channels in standard definition through your existing TV aerial.
LE820E - Only available direct from Sharp and only available in 40 inches, this model also features a built-in Freeview tuner.
LE821E - These models feature a built-in Freeview HD tuner, allowing you to watch free-to-view digital TV channels. You will be able to view standard definition channels such as BBC One and ITV1, but also take advantage of the HD channels coming to Freeview during the digital switchover, including BBC HD and ITV HD. Some regions will not be able to receive HD until after the switchover - for more information and to check coverage in your area, visit the Freeview website.

2009 Models
Sharp AQUOS LE600 Series LED TVs
The Sharp AQUOS LE600 range of LED TVs is the lowest priced range of Sharp LED TVs, and typically the lowest priced LED TVs we see on LED TV Prices. However, don't let the price fool you. The LE600 range offers extremely high quality LED TVs, which are easily able to compete on specification with the Samsung entry-level 6 Series range of LED TVs. The LE600 series is a great choice for those looking to purchase a future-proof, cutting-edge piece of LED technology without breaking the bank.
Sharp LE600 LED TVs typically offer three HDMI ports, a contrast ratio of 2,000,000:1, but unfortunately only a standard refresh rate of 50Hz. However they do feature full screen LED backlighting, which provides an even sharper and brighter picture than the current edge-lit technology seen in ranges from Samsung and Sony.

Sharp LE700 LED TVs offer a higher specification than the LE600 series, typically offering four HDMI ports, a contrast ratio of 2,000,000:1, and improved refresh rate of 100Hz.
